Plant bulbs 5–6 inches deep and 5–6 inches apart in well-drained soil, placing each bulb at a 45-degree angle to prevent water from collecting in the stem hole. They grow well in full sun to partial shade, bloom in late spring, and are hardy in zones 4–8.
