Tradescantia Zebrina is a colorful trailing houseplant prized for its bold foliage and easy-growing nature. Its pointed leaves feature gray-green and purple tones with shimmering silver stripes and deep purple undersides. The cascading stems create a full, flowing appearance that works beautifully in hanging baskets, containers, or on shelves. Tradescantia Zebrina grows quickly, and occasional pruning helps encourage a fuller, more compact shape.
This tropical houseplant performs best in medium to bright indirect light, which helps maintain its rich color and silver markings. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings, and plant it in a well-draining cactus mix. Its ability to handle lower humidity makes it an adaptable choice for many indoor spaces.
