Description
Tradescantia Nanouk is a colorful tropical houseplant prized for its bold, striped foliage and easy-care nature. Glossy leaves emerge purple before developing shades of green, white, pink, and violet. The purple undersides add even more color to its trailing stems. Small white flowers with yellow centers may appear from bright pink buds during the warmer months. Its compact, spreading habit makes Tradescantia Nanouk an excellent choice for hanging baskets, shelves, and indoor containers.
This fast-growing houseplant performs best in medium to bright indirect light, which helps maintain its vibrant foliage. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings, and use a well-draining potting mix to help prevent excess moisture. Occasional pruning can encourage fuller growth and keep trailing stems looking tidy. Tradescantia Nanouk can cause irritation if ingested or handled by sensitive pets or people, so keep it in a suitable location.
