Description
Pilea Aquamarine is a delicate trailing houseplant known for its tiny, rounded leaves and shimmering color. The metallic silver-gray to blue-green foliage grows along warm brick-red stems, creating an eye-catching contrast. Its fine texture and cascading growth make it an excellent choice for hanging baskets, shelves, and containers. Pilea Aquamarine stays low but can develop long trailing stems, creating a soft, flowing appearance as it matures.
This easy-care houseplant thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers a well-draining soil mix. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, with more frequent watering often needed during the warmer summer months. Avoid direct sunlight and standing water. Pinching or pruning the stem tips as needed will encourage compact, fuller growth and help maintain its attractive shape.
