The Buttercream Drift® Rose is a compact groundcover rose that produces pale yellow blooms with ruffled edges throughout the growing season. Its deep green foliage provides a beautiful contrast to the creamy yellow flowers, making it an excellent choice for full sun foundation plantings. This variety's spreading habit ensures it fills in areas quickly, creating a neat and uniform groundcover. From mid-spring to early fall, it blooms with showy, semi-double cup-shaped flowers that have a buttery yellow tint, making it perfect for cutting.
With a mature size of 18 inches in height and 30 inches in width, the Buttercream Drift® Rose thrives in USDA hardiness zones 4–7 and is known for attracting bees to your garden. Its ground-hugging habit requires minimal maintenance, with pruning best done in late winter after the threat of extreme cold has passed.
