Chrysanthemum Padre Cerise delivers bold late-summer and early-fall color with abundant double cherry-red blooms. Its vibrant flowers cover a dense, rounded mound of fragrant, fern-like dark green foliage. This early-season mum is low maintenance and easy to grow. Grown at our Woburn Growing Center, it makes a striking addition to patio containers, garden beds, borders, and fresh-cut arrangements.
Chrysanthemum Padre Cerise grows about 20 inches tall and wide and performs best in full sun with regular watering. Keep the soil evenly moist and provide shelter from strong winds to help the flowers last longer. Like most fall mums, it is best enjoyed as a seasonal accent rather than a dependable perennial. Its compact shape and outstanding container performance make it an easy way to bring rich color to autumn displays.
