Description
Chrysanthemum Celestial White creates an elegant fall display with abundant double white flowers and soft ivory-to-yellow centers. Fragrant, fern-like green foliage complements the bright blooms and forms a dense, rounded mound. Blooming from early through late fall, this mum is beautiful in patio containers, garden beds, borders, and fresh-cut arrangements. It is grown at our Woburn Growing Center for a full and colorful seasonal display.
Chrysanthemum Celestial White grows about 24 inches tall and wide and performs best with at least six hours of direct sunlight daily. Keep the soil evenly moist and protect the plant from strong winds to help extend flowering. Like most fall mums, it is best enjoyed as a seasonal accent rather than a dependable perennial. Its flowers can continue blooming until a hard freeze, providing long-lasting color when many other plants have finished for the season.
