Description

Marvel of Four Seasons lettuce, also known as Merveille de Quatre Saisons, is a striking French heirloom cherished for its tender, sweet leaves and vibrant color gradient from green at the base to cranberry-red at the tips. Forming a crinkled rosette that resembles a flower, this frost-tolerant variety thrives in large containers and remains flavorful in both cool and warm conditions when kept consistently moist. Ideal for successive sowings, it adds both elegance and taste to any cool-season harvest.

The Marvel of Four Seasons lettuce plant grows 6″–8″ tall and 8″–12″ wide, producing a steady supply of tender, colorful leaves. Harvest by cutting at the base or snipping outer leaves individually, leaving enough plant for regrowth. For continual harvest, trim outer leaves regularly while allowing the inner rosette to continue developing.

This packet sows up to 244 feet. 730 seeds.
