Description

Bio-Tone Starter Plus by Espoma, is the ultimate starter fertilizer with both Endo & Ecto Mycorrhizae. Grows larger root mass to help your plants establish fast. Reduces transplant loss and promotes bigger blooms. All natural organic fertilizer with no sludges or fillers. Best used at time of planting to help ensure that new plantings get maximum water and nutrients from the soil.

For use on everything you plant, including flowers, vegetables, trees & shrubs. When applying to planting beds, mix the fertilizer into the top 4-6″ of soil prior to planting. For trees & shrubs, mix into the soil used to back-fill the planting hole. Lastly for potting mixes, mix thoroughly into the soil mix prior to planting.

How much to use:

• Flower Beds: Mix 4 lbs. (12 cups) per 100 sq. ft
• Bulbs: Place 1 tsp. per bulb in the hole prior to planting.
• Potting Mixes: Mix 9 lbs. per cu. yd. or 1 cup per cu. ft.
• New Lawns: Apply 10 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. prior to seeding or installing sod.
