Description

'Red Sails' Lettuce Leaf is a heat-tolerant variety that grows quickly and yields tender, buttery leaves perfect for baby greens in just 2 to 3 weeks. With its attractive red-bronze frilly edges, it matures into a full head in only 6 weeks, making it ideal for both early harvests and extended harvests throughout the season. The plant boasts more vitamins A and C than typical grocery-store lettuce, and its resistance to heat means it won't become bitter as temperatures rise. A great container variety and All-America Selections winner, 'Red Sails' delivers both beauty and nutrition to your garden.
