Grown locally in our Woburn Greenhouses, Uncle Mike’s French Thyme—also known as Summer Thyme—is an essential ingredient in French cuisine. With its narrow, slightly grayish leaves and sweeter flavor than English thyme, it enhances stews, soups, ragouts, meats, seafood, and sauces. Unlike some herbs, French thyme retains its full flavor and aroma during cooking. Hardy in zone 5, this versatile herb grows compactly to 8-12″ tall, making it perfect for garden beds or containers.
