Description
Ardisia Crenata is a beautiful evergreen houseplant known for its shiny dark green leaves and bright red berries that last through winter. In spring and early summer, it grows soft clusters of pink, bell-shaped flowers that add a gentle, colorful touch. With its upright, spreading shape and fine texture, Ardisia Crenata makes a striking accent plant for any bright room. It grows best with plenty of natural sunlight, rich soil, and steady moisture.
This plant can reach about 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide indoors, growing at a medium pace and living for decades with good care. Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy, watering one to two times a week depending on light and room conditions. It prefers bright indirect light, warm temperatures, and rich, acidic soil. An occasional light pruning will help it keep its neat shape. Because the berries are toxic, keep this plant out of reach of pets and young children.
