Description
Abelia Poco Loco® is a compact evergreen shrub that delivers color through every season. Bright yellow and orange new leaves appear in spring before maturing to rich green with pink new growth. From mid spring to early summer, clusters of lightly scented white flowers with soft pink tones bloom across the branches. These blooms attract bees, butterflies, and birds, bringing life and movement to your garden.
The tidy, mounded shape of Abelia Poco Loco® makes it an excellent choice for smaller landscapes, mass plantings, borders, and patio containers. In fall, the glossy foliage turns deep burgundy and often holds its color into winter for added seasonal interest. Deer usually leave this slow-growing shrub alone, making it a dependable choice for many landscapes. Plant it in full sun to part sun with moist, well-drained soil, and prune after flowering to keep its neat shape.
