Tall, sturdy stalks yield vibrant ears with deep burgundy and gold-variegated kernels, perfect for drying and displaying in fall décor. While often grown for ornamental use, Painted Mountain is also great for making flour, hominy, and polenta, making it as functional as it is beautiful.
