Description
The Minneola Tangelo Tree produces large, juicy fruit with a sweet and tangy citrus flavor. Also called a Honeybell, this citrus is a cross between a tangerine and grapefruit. The deep reddish-orange fruit has easy-to-peel skin and tender orange flesh. Each fruit grows about 3 to 3.5 inches wide. Its compact size makes this tree a great choice for containers, patios, and bright indoor spaces.
Grow your Minneola Tangelo Tree in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Let the top layer of soil dry before watering again. This citrus tree prefers temperatures between 60°F and 80°F with moderate humidity. Grow it outdoors during warm weather and bring it inside when temperatures turn cold. Indoors, place the tree in a bright area with plenty of light.
