Description

Beacon Silver Spotted Dead Nettle is a fast-growing groundcover that brightens shaded gardens with striking silver foliage edged in rich green. This low-growing perennial quickly forms a dense carpet of colorful leaves, making it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, under trees, and difficult shady areas. From mid-spring through early fall, clusters of rosy-pink flowers rise above the foliage, adding soft color while attracting butterflies and other pollinators.

Easy to grow and highly adaptable, Beacon Silver Spotted Dead Nettle thrives in partial shade to full shade and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, including dry sites once established. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for filling bare spaces, softening pathways, or cascading from containers and hanging baskets. With its long season of interest, drought tolerance, and eye-catching foliage, this versatile perennial delivers reliable color and texture throughout the growing season.

Each plant comes in a 4.5″ growers container. The image shown represents an example of what you may receive. Please note that the height, shape, and fullness of each plant may vary due to natural growth patterns. Rest assured, we will select the healthiest and most vibrant plant for you.

*This plant may not be in bloom at the time of purchase. Whether pre- or post-bloom, rest assured it’s healthy—just not at its showiest.
