Grown locally in our Woburn Greenhouses, Uncle Mike’s Shishito Pepper is a Japanese favorite known for its mild, savory flavor and occasional surprise heat. Each plant yields about a dozen slender, 3-4” peppers with thin walls, perfect for grilling, frying, or enjoying raw. While most are mild, every 10-20 peppers may pack a fiery punch! Harvest green for the best flavor or allow them to ripen to red. Don't forget to get some good support!
