Description
Amaryllis 'Carmen' is a stunning indoor bulb with velvety red, trumpet-shaped blooms in a rich, deep shade. Growing 18 to 24 inches tall, its 6 to 8 inch flowers create a bold display during the winter months. Each jumbo-sized bulb can produce three to four thick flower stalks, with four to five blossoms per stem. Amaryllis 'Carmen' blooms 8 to 12 weeks after planting and grows best in a bright, warm spot with indirect light and well-drained potting soil. Plant the bulb in a pot at least 6 inches wide, keeping the top one-third above the soil. Water sparingly until growth appears, then keep the soil moist but not soggy. After blooming, allow the foliage to remain so it can help nourish the bulb for future growth.
Plant the bulb in a pot at least 6 inches wide, with 2/3 of the bulb covered in potting soil and the top 1/3 exposed. With proper care, you'll enjoy blooms within 8-12 weeks, with flowers reaching heights of 18-24 inches. Known for its simplicity and beauty, Amaryllis 'Carmen' makes winter gardening effortless.
