The Ponderosa Lemon Tree produces extra-large lemons with a bold, tart citrus flavor. The fruit can grow from 3 to 5 inches wide and has a thick, bumpy rind. Its juicy, acidic flesh is great for cooking, baking, drinks, and other recipes. Large, fragrant white flowers add even more beauty to this unique citrus tree.
Grow your Ponderosa Lemon Tree in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Keep the soil evenly moist, but never soggy. This citrus tree prefers temperatures between 60°F and 80°F with moderate humidity. Bring it indoors when temperatures turn cold. Place it in a bright spot and provide enough humidity during the winter months.
