Each 3–4 inch bloom features white petals with pink stripes and deep purple centers, creating a beautiful celestial effect. Growing 32–40 inches tall, Allium 'Starlight' makes an excellent focal point in perennial beds, borders, and containers. Allium 'Starlight' attracts bees and butterflies, resists deer and rabbits, and becomes drought tolerant once established. The flowers also work well in fresh and dried arrangements. Plant bulbs 7–8 inches deep and 8–10 inches apart in well-drained soil. These hardy perennials grow best in full sun to partial shade, bloom from late spring to early summer, and are hardy in zones 4–8.
