Ipheion uniflorum 'Jessie' is a charming Spring Starflower with fragrant, deep blue, star-shaped blooms and darker petal stripes. Growing 6 to 10 inches tall, it blooms from early to mid-spring and can flower for up to eight weeks. Furthermore, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil, while its deer and rabbit resistance adds easy-care appeal. For best results, plant bulbs 2 to 3 inches deep and 3 to 4 inches apart in fall. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally, and enjoy Ipheion uniflorum 'Jessie' in rock gardens, borders, pathways, or naturalized plantings.
