Description
Tulip 'Apricot Emperor' is a glowing Fosteriana tulip with coral-apricot blooms accented by salmon-pink tones and green markings. Growing 12 to 16 inches tall, its strong stems support large flowers up to 5 inches across. Plant Tulip 'Apricot Emperor' in full sun and well-drained soil, setting bulbs 6 to 8 inches deep and 4 to 6 inches apart. For a bold display, plant groups of 10 or more bulbs together. Water after planting, then during dry spring periods as needed. Hardy in Zones 3-8, this early to mid-spring bloomer adds warm color to borders, containers, mass plantings, and cut flower arrangements.
