Description

'Great Lakes 118' lettuce brings the iconic, cool crunch of crisphead (also known as iceberg) to your garden. A 1960s improvement on the original 'Great Lakes', this variety is both heat-tolerant and resistant to bolting, scalding, and tip burn, ensuring a crisp harvest even in warmer weather. Compact, round heads with vibrant green outer leaves and a blanched center are perfect for adding to salads or topping sandwiches. Ideal for containers, this variety is a fantastic choice for those looking for an easy-to-grow, reliable lettuce that performs well through the heat of the season.
