From spring through fall, Kangaroo Paw produces tall, branched stems topped with vibrant blooms that rise above a mound of bright green, grassy foliage. The unusual flowers are excellent for cutting and bring long-lasting color to any indoor plant collection.
Anigozanthos (Kangaroo Paw) grows about 14 inches tall, reaching up to 20 inches when in bloom, with an 18-inch spread. It thrives in bright indirect sunlight and prefers dry to average moisture with very well-drained soil. Water about once a week, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Drought-tolerant and low maintenance, this plant is perfect for bright indoor spaces and also performs beautifully in outdoor containers during spring and summer.
