These fragrant blooms appear in early spring before the dark green deciduous foliage emerges. As the seasons change, its large pointy leaves transition to a warm coppery-bronze in the fall.
This small tree or large shrub thrives in Massachusetts gardens, thanks to its cold-hardy nature and upright pyramidal form.
