Description

Azalea Choptank River Sweet is a breathtaking hybrid of the native azalea (Azalea atlanticum), featuring delicate shell pink trumpet-shaped blooms with coral tips. These fragrant flowers emerge in mid-spring from coral-pink buds, creating a stunning seasonal display. Its narrow, green deciduous foliage remains attractive throughout the growing season, though it does not develop significant fall color.

With an upright, multi-stemmed growth habit and slightly coarse texture, this azalea adds visual interest to any garden. It thrives in highly acidic, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. For optimal growth, incorporate plenty of peat moss when planting.

Each plant comes in a #2 (2 gallon) growers container. The image shown represents an example of what you may receive. Please note that the height, shape, and fullness of each plant may vary due to natural growth patterns. Rest assured, we will select the healthiest and most vibrant plant for you.
