Description

Viburnum – American Wentworth (Viburnum trilobum 'Wentworth') is a native standout prized for its ornamental beauty and wildlife value. In late spring, this hardy shrub produces clusters of striking white lacecap flowers, followed by a prolific display of bright scarlet berries that last from late summer through winter. Its dark green, lobed foliage emerges with a reddish tint and transitions to a brilliant red in the fall, while golden stems and smooth gray bark provide winter interest.

Growing up to 10 feet tall and 8 feet wide, the Wentworth Highbush Cranberry offers a naturally upright, spreading form ideal for use as a specimen, hedge, or part of a native plant garden. Selected for its superior fruiting and adaptability, this low-maintenance shrub thrives in Zones 2–8 and grows well in a range of soil types. Not only is it deer-resistant, but it also attracts birds and pollinators, offering year-round beauty and ecological benefits to your landscape.

Each plant comes in a #2 (2 gallon) growers container. The image shown represents an example of what you may receive. Please note that the height, shape, and fullness of each plant may vary due to natural growth patterns. Rest assured, we will select the healthiest and most vibrant plant for you.
