Grown locally in our Woburn Greenhouses, Uncle Mike’s Armenian Cucumber is a unique, heat-loving variety known for its long, slender, ribbed fruit and refreshingly mild, sweet flavor. Technically a melon, this burpless cucumber produces crisp, pale green fruits best harvested at 12–18 inches long. Perfect for salads, sandwiches, and yogurt-based dishes, it doesn’t require peeling and thrives in hot summer conditions where other cucumbers may struggle.
