Description

Redbud – Eastern (Cercis canadensis) is a striking deciduous tree admired for its vibrant early spring display of rosy-pink to purple blooms. Clusters of pea-like flowers burst directly from bare branches, creating a spectacular show before the foliage emerges. With its rounded, upright form, this ornamental tree reaches up to 30 feet tall and wide at maturity, making it a standout feature in gardens, borders, or as a focal point in the landscape.

Thriving in full sun to part sun and well-draining soil, the Eastern Redbud prefers consistent moisture but is adaptable once established. Its heart-shaped leaves emerge with a rich burgundy hue in spring, maturing to green, then transforming to bright yellow in fall—adding three seasons of interest. Hardy in zones 4 to 9, the Eastern Redbud brings dependable color, charm, and structure to a variety of outdoor spaces.

Each plant comes in a #7 (7 gallon) growers container. The image shown represents an example of what you may receive. Please note that the height, shape, and fullness of each plant may vary due to natural growth patterns. Rest assured, we will select the healthiest and most vibrant plant for you.
