Description
If you love the look of Monstera deliciosa but lack the space, Monstera Minima is an excellent option! Despite common names like 'Philodendron minima', 'Monstera minima', 'Monstera Ginny', and 'Philodendron Ginny', this plant belongs to the genus Rhaphidophora and is not a Monstera or Philodendron.
Monstera Minima is harmful to pets and can grow between 72 to 96 inches tall. For optimal performance, keep it at temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C) and protect furniture when watering. Feed it once per month at half strength during active growth. This plant will need a support stake like bamboo poles, a wood board, or a moss post to grow tall. Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry and use a well-drained potting mix with added perlite for better drainage. Monstera Minima is adaptable and thrives in average household conditions, making it a great addition to your indoor plant collection.
