Description
Hybrid Tea Rose – Tropicana is a classic hybrid tea rose introduced in 1960. It remains a popular choice thanks to its beautiful coral blooms, which are well-suited for cutting. The blooms continuously or in flushes throughout the growing season and have a noticeable fruity fragrance. Tropicana Rose features showy, fragrant, double coral-pink flowers with crimson overtones from early summer to late fall. Its dark green deciduous foliage complements the blossoms, while the glossy oval compound leaves do not develop appreciable fall color. The showy red hips are displayed from early to late fall, adding an extra layer of interest to the plant.
This shrub has an upright spreading growth habit, blending into the landscape with its average texture. It can be balanced by other finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition.
