The heirloom 'Cherokee Purple' tomato, passed down through generations after being gifted by the Cherokees over 100 years ago, is cherished for its perfect balance of sweetness with a hint of smoke. With its 10–12 oz., thin-skinned, rose/purple fruits and a brick-red interior, this indeterminate variety is a favorite for slicing. It thrives in the summer and fall, producing abundant harvests from vigorous vines that can reach 6' or more. Ready for harvest in 80 days, it brings exceptional flavor to any garden.

Variety Information: 10–12 oz., thin-skinned rose/purple fruits with brick red-colored interior. It is said that in the late 1890s, Native American Cherokees gave seeds of this tomato to someone who kept the line alive. One hundred years later, the tomato was revived, and the seeds became available to the public through retail sales.
