Description
A prized Russian heirloom from Krymsk on the Black Sea, 'Black Krim' tomatoes produce baseball-sized, 10–12 oz. fruits with a rich, slightly salty flavor. The fruit’s unique reddish-brown flesh turns near black in warm weather and dusky pink to burgundy with green shoulders in cooler climates. Known for its reliability, even in adverse conditions, this indeterminate variety sets fruit well in heat, providing a bountiful harvest from summer to fall. The plants can grow up to 6' or more and require support to hold their large, flavorful fruits. Maturing in 70–90 days, 'Black Krim' tomatoes bring a bold, savory taste to your garden.
