The Meyer Lemon Tree produces juicy, yellow-orange lemons with a sweet and mild citrus flavor. The fruit is less acidic than a traditional lemon and has smooth, thin skin. Each lemon grows about 2.5 to 3 inches wide. Use the fresh fruit for drinks, desserts, cooking, and other recipes. This compact citrus tree also grows well in containers, making it a great choice for patios and sunny indoor spaces.
Grow your Meyer Lemon Tree in full sun and well-draining soil. Keep the soil evenly moist, but never soggy. This citrus tree prefers temperatures between 60°F and 80°F with humidity above 50%. Bring the tree indoors when temperatures turn cold. Place it near a bright, sunny window and provide enough humidity during the winter months.
