Description

Add a zesty, citrus-infused spice to your garden with Lemon Drop peppers (also known as “Ahi Limon”). With a Scoville rating of 30,000-50,000, these vibrant 2″-3″ yellow peppers offer a bold heat balanced by a unique lemony flavor. Known for their strong citrus notes and distinct lemon scent, they’re perfect for drying. Though the plants are prolific, they take time to mature, typically reaching harvest 100 days after transplanting. Enjoy this flavorful heat in your dishes while taking care to harvest with caution!

Special Care: Harvest when peppers are mature in size and have turned bright yellow. Some peppers will have a purple blush to them that may never fade away. It is okay to harvest these peppers too. When harvesting, take care to avoid touching the interior of any broken peppers, as the capsaicin is an extreme irritant, especially to the eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after harvesting or wear gloves to harvest peppers.
