Description

Add heat and flavor to your garden with the Cayenne Blend, a collection of pencil-thin, 4″-6″ peppers that turn from green to vibrant red or yellow. Known for their versatility, these peppers are perfect for fresh hot sauces, chili, or dried to make cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes. With a Scoville heat rating of 30,000–50,000, they're about ten times hotter than jalapeños. The blend includes both the 'Golden' variety, which ripens to yellow, and the classic 'Long Red Thin,' which matures to red. Prolific plants grow 18″-24″ tall, thriving in containers, and make an attractive southwestern-style decoration when strung as ristras.
