Description
Summer Sunshine Tickseed delivers a burst of golden blooms just when Massachusetts gardens need them most—late summer through fall. Growing up to 30″ tall, this Coreopsis palustris variety forms vigorous mounds of foliage and holds up well even in damp, swampy areas. Its bright yellow flowers provide extended seasonal color in areas that can handle moist soil.
Native to the southeastern U.S., Summer Sunshine Tickseed is surprisingly well-adapted to New England gardens, especially in low-lying spots or near water features. It spreads slowly and adds reliable structure and bloom in rain gardens or naturalized settings. With its tolerance of wet roots, Summer Sunshine Tickseed fills a unique niche in the Massachusetts landscape.
