Description
Happidaze Sweet Gum is a refined, pyramidal shade tree that flourishes in Massachusetts, providing striking burgundy fall color. Its star-shaped leaves emerge deep green and transform into a rich maroon hue in autumn, making it a standout in any landscape. Unlike traditional varieties, this tree is completely seedless, eliminating the hassle of fruit clean-up.
As it matures, Happidaze Sweet Gum develops a rounded crown, offering a graceful yet structured presence in the landscape. Its pyramidal form makes it an excellent focal point, adding height and visual interest to gardens. While it thrives in well-drained soils, it is not suited for sandy conditions, making it best for fertile Massachusetts gardens.
Our trees are sold by height (younger trees) or by caliper (more mature trees), ensuring you find the perfect size for your landscape needs. This tree is available by trunk caliper, at 2-2.5 in. size, for a more mature, developed option.
Each plant comes with the roots balled & burlapped. The image shown represents an example of what you may receive. Please note that the height, shape, and fullness of each plant may vary due to natural growth patterns. Rest assured, we will select the healthiest and most vibrant plant for you.
