Description
Hybrid Tea Rose – Chrysler Imperial made waves when it was introduced in 1952 and remains one of the best hybrid teas to this day. It blooms profusely in early summer and continues steadily throughout the season. The deep red blooms are full, fragrant, and perfect for cutting, making this rose a standout in any garden. It thrives in warm and dry climates, offering bold, lightly-scented double red flowers from late spring to early fall.
Chrysler Imperial Rose is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright spreading habit. Its green foliage provides a lovely backdrop for the red blooms, although it doesn’t develop significant fall color. This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter after the threat of extreme cold has passed.
