Description
Lil' Kim Red® Rose of Sharon (Botanical Name: Hibiscus syriacus 'SHIMRR38') is a compact shrub that produces stunning rose-colored flowers with deep red centers and veins throughout the summer. These bold, trumpet-shaped flowers with white anthers create a striking display from mid-summer to early fall. Lil' Kim Red® is highly adaptable but thrives best in full sun, making it an excellent choice for smaller garden areas and containers.
This multi-stemmed deciduous shrub grows to a mature height and width of 4 feet, with an upright spreading habit. The plant’s green deciduous foliage complements the colorful blooms, although the leaves do not display significant fall color. Lil' Kim Red® Rose of Sharon attracts butterflies and hummingbirds while being resistant to deer. Regular care and annual pruning in late winter will keep the shrub healthy and vibrant.
Each plant comes in a #3 (3 gallon) growers container. The image shown represents an example of what you may receive. Please note that the height, shape, and fullness of each plant may vary due to natural growth patterns. Rest assured, we will select the healthiest and most vibrant plant for you.
*This plant may not be in bloom at the time of purchase. Whether pre- or post-bloom, rest assured it’s healthy—just not at its showiest.
