Description

Tricyrtis hirta 'Miyazaki,' also known as Miyazaki Toad Lily, is a shade-loving perennial prized for its unique lily-like flowers and late summer to early fall blooms. This variety features small white to pale lilac flowers adorned with heavy purple spotting, which appear in clusters at the upper leaf axils and stem tips. Growing 2-3 feet tall, its arching, unbranched stems and hairy foliage add a distinctive texture to woodland and shade gardens.

Thriving in moist, well-drained, organically rich soils, 'Miyazaki' prefers part to full shade and can self-seed under optimal conditions.
