The Calamondin Tree is a small citrus tree that produces bright orange fruit about 1 inch wide. The fruit has a tart, tangy flavor and can be used in drinks, sauces, and other recipes. Glossy green leaves and colorful fruit give this tree plenty of charm. Its compact size also makes it a great choice for growing in a container.
Grow your Calamondin Tree in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Water when the top layer of soil feels dry. It prefers temperatures between 60°F and 80°F with moderate to high humidity. Bring the tree indoors when temperatures turn cold. Place it near a bright window to help it stay healthy through winter.
