Philco AM-FM Cathedral Radio Bookends Really a stunning, dual-purpose AM/FM stereo radio provoking nostalgic reflection. Classic 1930s Cathedral styling hides two 3-inch 8-ohm speakers, one in each mahogany finished bookend, covered by woven grille cloths which were typical in the 30's. Battery Operated. Minor Scratches, (see pictures). Speaker Cabinets are all Wood w/a two-tone finish The speaker cover material is a covered material. The radio is in working order and has a long FM antenna wire. The brass radio controls are on the right bookend with a brass Philco badge on the left bookend. Bookends connect to one another for great sound. 4 "D" cell batteries are needed. Bookends measure 6" x 5.5" at the base of one bookend and stand 10.5" tall.
