This lovely olive wood hinged box was made in Israel …the box measures 4 1/4” x 2 3/4” x 1 3/4”…has a red felt bottom and inside lining …the carving on the top depicts “The Holy Family” Bethlehem…the box can be used for so many things, jewelry, rosary, affirmation notes, but this one holds a handmade personal size cross which measures 1 1*2” x 3 1/2” x 1/4’….a wonderful worry / rubbing cross…Most people buy Olivewood for its rich blend of caramel tones rippled with dark brown grain…but more than just it’s looks Olivewood is an incredibly dense hardwood that makes it less susceptible for stains odors and bacteria…Please view all of the photos for they are part of the description.
