This dress is in overall excellent vintage condition, with no rips, tears, or stains. There is one very small mark on the right rear shoulder where the knap of the velvet is scuffed or flattened. It's not very noticeable, but I took a photo of it (last photo in lineup). The white lace collar is still nice and white, with no yellowing.
Vintage 1980s party/holiday dress by SCOTT McCLINTOCK. Made of a non-stretch velvet in a rich forest green with a white lace front bodice. Long puffed sleeves with shoulder pads. Deep Vee neckline. Rear button closure down the back of the dress. The seating of the dress at the waist gives the dress a beautiful shape. There is also a pretty bow detail near the bottom of the back of the skirt.
