Description

Mâche is delightful eaten alone as a salad, mixed with other greens, or cooked like spinach. The big-seeded variety is more tolerant of hot conditions without becoming bitter. Also tolerant of cold weather, it will often survive freezing temperatures to 10°F.

Mild Climates: Sow in fall to winter for cool-season harvest. Ideal soil temperature for germination is 40°–68°F.
