Black Pearl® Sweet Cherry is an early-ripening variety known for its incredible flavor, firm texture, and satisfying crunch. Part of Cornell University’s “Pearl” series, this vigorous and productive tree produces high-quality cherries with deep color and rich sweetness. With high sugar content and excellent firmness, these cherries are perfect for fresh eating and store well after harvest.
Thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, Black Pearl® Sweet Cherry is heat-tolerant and resistant to cracking and canker, making it a reliable choice for home orchards. Fruit ripens in early summer, giving you one of the first sweet cherry harvests of the season. For best fruit production, plant with another early-blooming sweet cherry variety for proper pollination.
