Description

Standing 163 feet tall, the Cape Lookout Lighthouse sits along the southern shores of the Outer Banks. The checkered daymarks are intended not only for differentiation between similar light towers, but also shows direction. The center of the black diamonds points north-south, while the white diamonds point east-west.
