Description
The Ficus Roy boasts leathery green leaves with raised white veins on a woody stem. Considered a sacred tree by both Hindus and Buddhists the Ficus benghalensis 'Roy” is native to India. Roy can grow to epic proportions in the wild reaching over 98 feet high, with a canopy acres wide.

For optimal performance, keep at 60-85°F (15-29°C).
Prefers higher humidity.
Feed once per month at half strength when plant is actively growing.
Protect furniture when watering.
This plant loves warm temperatures, ideally above 70 degrees, so be sure not to place it near a door or vent that will let in cold air.
Let the top 2 to 3 inches of soil dry out a bit before you water it again, and never let it sit in standing water.
Add some perlite and/or orchid bark to an all-purpose potting mix for a great growing medium.
Dust its broad leaves so they can continue to photosynthesize properly, especially in lower light conditions. Placement in front of a sunny window is ideal.
