This 6″ Red Anthurium plant is a durable and easy-care houseplant that is sure to brighten up any room. This type of air plant requires bright, indirect sunlight and needs to be watered regularly, allowing the soil to partially dry out between waterings. Usually mistaken for flowers, Anthuriums feature colorful waxy leaves called spathes that flare from the base of the fleshy spikes where the actual tiny flowers grow. To ensure robust, repeat colorful spathes, allow the plant to rest for a few months in a cool area with little watering in the winter before moving it back into a brightly lit room.
